The first plate of Bing & Grondahl Christmas was built in 1895 by Harald Bing, then President of Bing & Grondahl. With this dish, the first of the oldest unbroken series of collectible porcelain dishes, started a Christmas tradition soon aroused enthusiasm and appreciation worldwide.

 

The child's plate 2010 is called "the little Chauffeur" and is the 26th in the series which is created from 1985. The reason for the year by Sven Vestergaard.
