DESIREE COPENHAGEN H.C. ANDERSEN CHRISTMAS BELL 2000
In this listing is presented the Christmas 2000 camapana created by Danish manufacturer Desireé, the subject depicted is the same as the plate of Christmas of the same year.
Desireé dishes inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales are produced since 1970 and today are a true "gem" for collectors, many vintages are increasingly rare and difficult to find.
The dish Desireé Denmark, Old Copenhagen Blue, Svend Jensen of Denmark, 1995 is the 26ª Desireé series and is titled "Everything in the Right Place". The pattern is in relief and the plate is hand-decorated in classic shades of cobalt blue light applied.
The pot is produced in limited quantities and production ends at the end of the year with the destruction of the original shape making it so impossible to playback.
The Bell measures 8 cm high and 6 cm in diameter.
