The Royal Copenhagen (Den Kongelige Porcelainsfabrik) founded in 1775 under the patronage of the Royal House of Denmark, represented by Queen Giuliana Maria, is one of the oldest porcelain factories in the world still in operation.
This listing presents the Royal Copenhagen Christmas Bell of the year 2010 designed by Sven Vestergaard; The same design as the Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate was reproduced on the Bell. The ornamental motif is in relief and the bell is decorated by hand in the classic cobalt blue shades applied undercoat.
The bell is produced in limited quantities and production ends at the end of the year with the destruction of the original form, which therefore makes reproduction impossible.
To guarantee authenticity, the Bell bears the mark of Royal Copenhagen, the Crown over the three Wavy Lines, and the initials of the painter.
The bell measures cm. 10 of height and cm. 7.5 in diameter.
