The Christmas plate of 1930 is the 23rd in the series of famous Royal Copenhagen plates and is titled "Fishing Boats on the Way to the Harbor". The pattern reproduced is in relief and the plate is decorated by hand in the classic cobalt blue shades applied undercoat.
The dish was produced in limited quantities only and exclusively in the year reported on the plate itself and the production ended at the end of the year with the destruction of the original shape that made it so impossible to reproduce.
To guarantee authenticity, the plate bears the mark of Royal Copenhagen, the Crown over the three Wavy Lines and the initials of the painter.
The plate measures 18 cm. in diameter and on the back presents the two holes drilled by the Royal Copenhagen during production to hang it.
