Royal Copenhagen (Den Kongelige Porcelainsfabrik) founded in 1775 with the patronage of the Royal House of Denmark, represented by Regina Giuliana Maria, is one of the oldest porcelain manufactories in the world still in business.
The production of "Royal Copenhagen" and "Bing & Grondahl" porcelain statuettes is made exclusively by hand, respecting the ancient traditions. During the production process a statuette passes among the skilled hands of many craftsmen. It is with these expert hands that the dough is poured into the molds and the various parts of the united statuette. The carvings are made with firm hand and, after the first baking in the oven, the statuettes are decorated and then enamelled manually; each of them is, therefore, a unique work bearing the initials of the painter. After a new baking and accurate quality control, the statuettes are ready to be admired all over the world.
This statuette is called " Siamese Cat " and is identified by the code " 3281 ". It measures 20 cm in height, with a footprint of 12 x 9 cm.
The statuette guarantees the authenticity of Royal Copenhagen, the Crown over the Three Wavy Lines, and the initials of the painter.
