Description

ROYAL COPENHAGEN VASE "Blue Iris"

Royal Copenhagen (Den Kongelige Porcelainsfabrik) founded in 1775 under the patronage of the Royal House of Denmark, represented by Queen Juliana Maria, is one of the oldest porcelain factory in the world still in existence.

The production of porcelain vases "Royal Copenhagen and Bing & Grondahl" is made exclusively by hand, respecting old traditions. During the production process a vessel passes through the hands of numerous craftsmen. After the first baking pots are decorated and enamelled manually; each of them is an unique work that bears the initials of the artist. After a new baking and a thorough quality control, the pots are ready to be admired throughout the world.

This vase is titled "Blue Iris" and is identified by the code "1441/750". Measure 30 cm high, with a footprint of 18 x 18 cm.

Guarantee of authenticity the vase bears the mark of Royal Copenhagen, the Crown over three wavy lines, and the initials of the artist.
