The Royal Copenhagen (Den Kongelige Porcelainsfabrik) founded in 1775 under the patronage of the Royal House of Denmark, represented by Queen Giuliana Maria, is one of the oldest porcelain factories in the world still in operation.
The production of porcelain vases "Royal Copenhagen" and "Bing & Grondahl" is made exclusively by hand, respecting the ancient traditions. During the production process a vase passes between the expert hands of numerous craftsmen. After the first firing in the oven, the pots are decorated and then manually enamelled; each of them is, therefore, a unique work that bears the initials of the painter. After a new baking and a careful quality control, the jars are ready to be admired all over the world.
This vase is titled " White flowers, blue background " and is identified by the code " 1886/47 ". Measure 18 cm in height, with a footprint of 11 x 11 cm.
To guarantee authenticity, the vase bears the mark of Royal Copenhagen, the Crown over the three Wavy Lines, and the initials of the painter.
